About the Doctor

Dr.Imad Yassin is a consultant pediatric neurologist with extensive experience in the field. Dr.Yassin offers diagnosis and treatment to patients with epilepsy, neurometabolic disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, headaches & migraine and movement disorders.He has long experience in providing onabotulinum toxin A (Botox) injections to patients with difficulties in walking due to spastic cerebral palsy with excellent results. Dr.Yassin is also experienced in performing and interpreting electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), Auditory Brain Stem Evoked Response (ABR) and Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP).

After obtaining his MD in pediatrics in 1994 from Vienna and Graz Universities, Austria, Dr.Yassin attained Fellowship of Austrian Medical Association in Pediatrics (FAMAP) Vienna, Austria and a Postgraduate Pediatric Neurology Certificate (PGNC) at the Pediatric Neurology department, Graz University Hospital. His work experience includes being a consultant pediatric neurologist and the head of pediatric neurology division at Armed Forces Hospital, Southern Region, Saudi Arabia and neurologist at Tawam Hospital, United Arab Emirates. Dr.Yassin was also appointed associate clinical professor at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University.
