Prof. Dr. Iyad Hassan is a consultant endocrinologist and cancer surgeon with many years of experience from well known hospitals in Germany and the UAE. He has performed over 2500 complex cancer procedures. Adding to that, he has aesthetic surgery experience based on minimally invasive technique. Prof. Hassan introduced the first surgical skills lab at the German University.
He specializes in minimally invasive endocrine surgery including thyroid, parathyroid, neuroendocrine tumors and pancreas, as well as laparoscopic and cancer surgeries such as colorectal resection, gastrectomy for tumors, plastic repair of pilonidal sinus, antireflux surgery and hiatal hernia repair.
