About the Doctor
Dr. Jehan Suleiman is a pediatric neurology consultant at ACPN. Since moving to the UAE in 2013, Dr. Suleiman has worked as Assistant Professor at UAE University Department of Pediatrics, where she focuses on academics, research, and clinical care. In 2017, she was appointed Adjunct Associate Professor in Pediatrics at the university after serving as a Consultant and Division Chief Pediatric Neurologist at Tawam Hospital from 2015 to 2022.
Dr. Suleiman is committed to providing the best care to children with neurological disorders, including general neurology, neuro-immunology, neuro-genetics, neuro-developmental disorders, motor disorders, cerebral palsy, stroke, neuromuscular disorders, headaches, and epilepsy.
Among her special interests and expertise are multiple sclerosis and complex epilepsy, ketogenic diet, and vagus nerve stimulation. As a result of her research and academic interests in pediatric neuroimmunology and neurogenetics, she has published many papers in high-impact journals, and has been awarded a syndrome in recognition of the discovery of its key characteristics (Suleiman-El-Hattab Syndrome).
