His areas of expertise include thyroid disease, thyroid nodules and cancer, diabetes care and prevention, adrenal and pituitary disorders, as well as, calcium related disorders and osteoporosis.

Dr. Aoun completed his PhD in endocrine research from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and was named as one of "America's Best Doctors" by the American Health Council.
