About the Doctor
Dr. Shawket Al Khayal has more than 20 years of experience, out of which 14 years practising as a Urologist. After graduating from Baghdad University College of Medicine in 1991, he moved to the UK seeking further training, experience and higher qualifications.
Dr. Al Khayal obtained his Masters Degree in Urology from UCL and a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons.
He was a lecturer at Sussex University Medical School, UK, honorary Consultant at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals and Head of Urology Department at Benenden Hospital in Kent. He then moved to Dubai in 2013 to work as a Consultant Urologist & Head of Department at the American Hospital Dubai and currently established Al Khayal Medical Centre for Urology and Andrology at Dubai Healthcare City, 2014.
