About the Doctor

Dr Hundia joined the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom in 1998. He trained as a Senior House Officer in various medical specialties and successfully obtained MRCP in April 2000.

Dr Hundia has completed five years of specialist training in Endocrinology, rotating through internationally renowned tertiary centers like the Leeds General Infirmary and the St James University Hospital. He had the opportunity to train and work with highly respected and world renowned Endocrinologists in the United Kingdom. During this time he had participated in several audit projects, publications, poster presentations and a pilot research project on Prothrombotic Clot Structure in Hyperthyroidism which was presented at the British Endocrine Society.

He obtained his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in 2007, and continued his career as a Consultant Physician at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, England until 2013. During this period he was regularly involved in teaching and training junior doctors and medical students.

In February 2013, he joined Al Zahra Hospital in Dubai.
