About the Doctor
Dr. Wael Nasser is a consultant pulmonologist and critical care specialist with American board certifications in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and echocardiography. He completed his training in internal medicine from University of Tennessee. Adding to that, he worked as clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida, and was involved in medical training for medical students, residents, and fellows for over 10 years. He then served as the medical director of Valencia College of Respiratory Care Program in Orlando.
Dr. Nasser has great experience in managing and treating all pulmonary diseases including asthma, chronic bronchitis, interstitial lung diseases, cystic lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension and sleep medicine. He also has a special interest in lung cancer, pleural effusions, COVID-19 pneumonia, rare lung diseases and ultrasound.
