About the Doctor
Professor Dr. Wolfgang Auffermann is an experienced Consultant Specialist in Radiology and Neuroradiology. Since 2006 he's been a Radiological Consultant at regular intervals in Dubai. Auffermann's Micro Therapy Clinic works in the special field of minimally invasive therapy. He studied medicine at the Universities of Münster, Bochum, Dusseldorf and Aachen and was a research assistant after his state exam at the University of Cologne and at the Technical University of Aachen. This was followed by research in the Netherlands and in the United States. He passed his residency in the field of diagnostic radiology at the Universities Aachen and Muenster. He is a Fellow of the University of California San Francisco. He completed his Specialist Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology and worked as a senior physician and consultant in at the Charite University Hospital Berlin and in Hamburg, and since 2006 as a Radiology Consultant in Dubai. Since 2007 he's been a Professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg.
He is a member of numerous radiological societies and received in the course of his career, many awards and scholarships. He also looks back on a long scientific teaching and is the author of more than 70 research articles in international peer reviewed journals, of several books and numerous conference and training presentations.
